Travel 500 years of French history and discover the soul of Da Vinci at Chambord castle, an unique and magical atmosphere, the forest, the extraordinary architecture imagined by Francis I and on which floats the spirit of Leonardo da Vinci. The gardens were commissioned by Louis XIV, but completed only during the reign of Louis XV, these gardens existed for over two centuries prior to gradually disappearing during the years before the two world wars. Integrally restored in 2017, they occupy approximately sixteen acres at the foot of the château.
